Ta-da!

I'm Kate, embracing my thirties and finally turning my passion into a full time profession. I love to photograph and have since I can remember. At 11 I would buy disposable cameras with my pocket money and take them to get processed, photographing my friends and the things around me that brought me joy. As I got a little older I then moved onto a digital camera which I would shove in my bag (and in peoples faces on nights out!) and then went onto buy my first DSLR when I left high school. Since then I've always been known as 'the girl that takes pictures'.
As a child I can remember boxes being pulled from the attic, looking at all the old photographs of grandparents, family members I didn't know existed and memories I could feel. This was when I truly understood the importance of photographs.

Based in Salford, Manchester, I live here with my ever-so supportive husband and our beautiful - yet chaotic - three children. I'm usually drinking over priced coffee, reading, doing a 'cosy' colouring book, dragging my reluctant family along on a hike or purchasing plants that I'm incapable of looking after. Either that or binge watching The US Office or Friends for the 1000th time.

Although covered in tattoos, I'm probably the softest person you will ever meet.

My Style

My style is very natural & relaxed, with gentle direction. I want to capture the beauty of life and everything in between, capturing memories and souls as authentically as possible.
My ideal clients are anyone who is up for a laugh, won't mind getting their clothes mucky and will happily have a hair out of place for it to blow in the wind. Art is, I believe, based on true beauty and natural emotions.
Earthy tones with an edge of moodiness is how I portray my art. I adore capturing images of 'being in the moment' - ruffled hair, laughing faces, memories and pure joy.
