Intimate & Commemorative Breastfeeding Journey at the Studio, Manchester

J & C came into the studio with their beautiful girl A, to commemorate their 2 year and 8 month breastfeeding journey; as J knew it was coming close to an end. My favourite part about this was that C had planned this for J, he contacted me and made the enquiry for her and it honestly melted my soul. It's not often dads think about things like this, and I love that he knew how important it was to her and how much of a huge achievement this was.

Breastfeeding is hard, and as it comes to an end it becomes bittersweet. You want to spend the whole time staring into their eyes, holding their tiny fingers and remembering exactly how the moment feels; wondering when the last feed will be. Wondering how long you have left...

Toddlers can be curious, playful and busy - baby A loved roaming around the studio playing with toys, peeping through the blinds and feeling the different textures that surrounded her. We didn't rush, didn't pose; just let her take the lead, explore and play.

Far from the plain white walls most studios offer, there are textured walls, fabrics, plants and pieces of furniture - specially chosen with clients and comfort in mind. It's a place to create whatever you want, to just be.
